LIFE, the debut EP which was independently released last month features ‘Gambling Man’, supported by an intriguing video, is an honestly written collection of musical gems which has earned comments from critics such as “stunning”, “infectious” and “captivating”.
Having spent the past 10 years working in the corporate world it came as a complete shock to colleagues, friends and family when Mike Waters casually revealed he had secretly been writing songs in his bedroom…. Incredible songs.
The singer/songwriter has been busy writing material and playing gigs including a residency at iconic The Espy, New Years On The Hill and The Hills Are Alive festivals, and supporting international artists such as Jay Brannan (USA) and playing sold out shows nationally with Lewis Watson (UK). Last month, he played 2 incredible sold out shows in Melbourne at Some Velvet Morning.
Be prepared to hear a lot more about the incredibly talented and very humble Mike Waters in the coming months.
